Door & Stand Duty
We must abide by the school district’s guidelines in order to continue to have use of their gymnasium. This includes having door monitors during all games and practice sessions. We are responsible for our own door monitors during practices and door monitors will be provided for us by other LTAA team family members when we have a game. This means you will be able to watch your child play during their games. Conversely, we must reciprocate by providing door monitors for several of their games during the season.
LTAA also provides a concession stand at each weekend home game. Here again, the concession stand will be staffed by family members of other LTAA teams during our games and we must provide staffing for several of their games during the season. All proceeds of the concession stand benefit LTAA. If we fail to provide staffing for either door or stand duty on the date of another team’s home game we will have to provide coverage for our own practices and games. This means you won’t be able to watch you child. This wouldn’t be fair to your child who cherishes the opportunity to have you watch them play.
Please show your appreciation by volunteering for door and/or stand duty on the dates shown on the schedule. PLEASE let us know when we can count on you. If no volunteers step forward then dates will be assigned at the Coach’s discretion.
